Wag ka sasakay sa agos. Wag kang sasakay sa bus.
Maglakad ka. Ng makita mo naman gano kaganda ang view. Huminto ka. Inhale. Exhale. Inom tubig. Nuod ng teevee. Minsan lang mabuhay. Once in a lifetime ang life. Pero not necessary that when you’re alive, you have life. So walk. Yea walk. Di baleng mabagal.

Good life awaits, for him who walk. Yea walk. Walk with the Lord.

For so many years I have been pushing myself to pass every examination, to submit every homework, to make (an ever stressful) thesis, to endure the horrors of some professors, to graduate and finally, to pass the board exam.

I did it.
Yes. I did it.
Yeah it felt good.
Yeah it felt good but just for a while.

I got the title, i got the job.
Engineer.
A Civil Engineer.

The title sounds oh so good.

But why is that, the good feeling doesn’t lasted long.

Everything is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

A chasing after a wind. You don’t chase the wind. You’re silly if you do so. So I then conclude, nothing is ever so important, your victory, your title, your money, your wealth. Nothing. If you chase these things. You’re like chasing after the wind.

In trying to please everyone we end up destroying the truth.
